Introduction:

This chip enables you to control a digital signal line. You can turn off, or on a line when you need to, and the signal is conditioned since the output is an open collector. There are four (4) buffers (line drivers) in this chip. The output must be pulled up to a voltage source. If you don't use some of the buffers in your application, bring them to ground or vcc.
