Is the spindle speed manually controlled or programmatically controlled with the software?

We run the spindle and the inverter manually, however, I know it can be ran through the software. We are not too familiar with this process, but you can find instructions through www.machsupport.com or on our forum Buildyourtool.com. We have loads of clients with a wealth of knowledge on this topic.
