This Bluetooth module contains a CSR BlueCore 4-External single chip radio and baseband integrated circuit for Bluetooth 2.4GHz wireless communication that features EDR or enhanced data rates of up to 3Mbps (Megabits per second). With the added 8Mbit (Megabit) external flash (included), voice and data can be transmitted. The Blootooth chip by CSR is fully qualified Bluetooth v2.0+EDR. Full Piconet and Scatternet support is also featured with this module.
Too communicate, simply use UART (Serial communication) using the TXD and RXD header pins. Power this module with a DC voltage between 3.6 volts to 6 volts. Communication voltage requires 3.3 volts. The headers on this module have connections for RXD (receive), TXD (Transmit), GND (Ground), VCC (positive voltage), EN (Enable) and State (receive the state or status of he Bluetooth module during its use).
