Introduction:

A variable resistor that can be connected as a voltage divider, or as a variable resistance. Leads are intended for through hole.

Description:

The wiper of the potentiometer is moved between the leads to create a variable resistance. Connect the outer leads to GND and VCC and the middle lead to the output voltage to create a voltage divider. To create a variable resistance, the resistance will be across one of the outer leads and the middle lead.
